What do your rating mean? How do I interpret your numbers? What do the column headings mean? See an example with definitions.
Yesterday’s picks are still showing. Is there something wrong? Not necessarily. The first thing you should try is hitting the refresh button on your browser. The reason is that your computer will keep the last page in its cache memory. But when you hit your refresh button, it forces your web browser to load the page. If that doesn’t work, your ISP may be using a caching software on their servers.
What time are your picks usually posted? Usually by 10:30 p.m. eastern standard time (EST).
What is your ROI (return on investment)? I do not track return on any kind of wager. Here is why... I figure that since most of the material on the site if free, people can track their own ROI. I can’t possibly keep track of ROI on all the different types of wagers that people play. I would rather spend my time providing the picks for free.
Why do you sometimes post selections late or skip days entirely? After three solid years of providing the best picks on the internet, I have decided that I have left myself very vulnerable to piracy. I have even been made aware that piracy may have already been taking place. The reason why my site is such an easy target for piracy is because I typically have my picks posted by about 10 p.m. EST each night prior to racing. So it would be pretty easy to steal the selections, modify them slightly and then republish or reprint them under a separate label for profit. To limit my vulnerability, I must mix up my publish routine and occassionally go dark at a site. I realize that presents a problem to all my regular, honest visitors. But I must protect myself.
