, Zen Destiny: Her destiny is to be a plow horse if she doesnt get a lot faster real soon.
A, Sioux Me Honey: Switches to dirt in her third career effort and this decently bred filly has the potential and could show it with the move to turf. Class level is what will hurt her today.
, More Than Thunder: Never raced on turf but her grand-sire, Thunder Gulch may have given her some turf ability. Comes off a lengthy layoff and will need to develop some speed. Tough to endorse.
, Elusive Moment: Not much to get excited about with her, especially with the move up in class. She can show early speed but its not great and usually disappears before the stretch.
, Sophisticated Lady: For what it's worth her trainer Ritvo has started 6 runners on turf and scored with 3 of them. Maragh is tabbed to ride and could work some magic with Lasix being added.
, Palace Cat: I really don't think so.
, Tessitura: Has to find a way to continue running. Being on the lead isn't working. but she does cut back and has some turf experience Moves up to face a few tougher foes and that should be enough to easily keep her from winning.
, Viva La View: Can improve enough in her third life time start to be a big threat today and should be the heavy post time favorite. Working out nicely for her return to racing and a firmer turf course should see her snag the win.
, Goo Goo Eyes: Takes a small move up the class ladder and may press the pace with her return to turf. Should be well rested but her lack of speed will make winning tough. A rated ride is her ticket to a win. If not she's running for minor rewards.
, Manitoba Miss: Northern invader comes in with a chance to win with the surface switch. Will need to her best today. Even paced runner can wear down possible leader Viva La View late.
, Delta Weekend: Could jump up and surprise today. Had some road woes in her last at this level and that may have stopped her from a better finish. Stays underneath Coa and has a chance to win with a good trip. Look for her to move forward with a firmer turf course in her second off the layoff.
, Satilla: May improve with Lasix. That could explain why she faded so badly her last. Speed figures must improve with class hike. Giant slayer Jerkins doesn't have any giants to slay in this one so she shouldn't be a threat.
