Woodbine Race 5
, Chalk Eyed Cat: Just average speed but is theoretically racing versus tougher today. That last race may have drained him. His late speed may keep him in the trifecta at best.
, Sally's Exploits: Shows some decent workouts and comes from a dam that has been producing winners. Adds blinkers and I wonder why? Could be a indication the trainer know he doesn't have much speed.
, Souris City: Runs along without making a menacing move to leaders. He's running for minor rewards at best in his third off the layoff.
, Duendecillo: Extends slightly and drops down in class. He's faced faster and could move forward to finish in the money today.
, Lock It Down: Kept close to pace then tired in deep stretch. Out performed Duendecillo in their last race. His third life time start and he should be good enough to just finish in the money.
, Master Manipulator: Adds blinkers and stretches out. He returns to the poly-track but the extra distance should hurt. Gets some pace relief today and this should let him hit the board.
, Typhoon Tempest: Too slow and in her second off the layoff may not improve to factor. He's missed the board in each of his races and today should be no different.
, Bearoak: Cuts back and drops down. He has enough speed to contend and even win. Moves down in class once more but will need his best to win.
, Kincarey: Could improve in his second off the layoff. Closed well in his last and as a "mature" three year old could be a threat to win. Could be over looked for class droppers I will take a chance with him in this one.
