I have a "real" job that took me to Pittsburgh. Our senator says it is full of rednecks. It's way too far to the nearest race track. And I have to learn how to follow a puck. Phillybilly is still unsupervised on the other end of the state.
Pittsburgh is a great town and the family loves it here.

Thanks Charlie. I know Mountaineer is not too far away but still farther than I would like. We live on the north side so it's a little over an hour. But I still have no excuses for not having been there at least once. I've heard good things about it.

Liam,
Would it be possible to have RSS Feeds for RETAMA park? If so, then I would probably sign up for a couple of months.

correction, I dont love it... Im stuck with it...
Liam, theres the meadows harness track that isnt too far... Im about 45 minutes from there, but havent been there in over 10 years... lol, would rather drive the extra distance to Mountaineer.... and the thing about Pittsburgh, is they hate horse racing, no OTBs that I even know about anymore, Im sure they have some... but hell if they last more than a couple years....

Hey, it was Murtha, not me that called you a redneck!! Still got himself reelected. These PA politics are wacky, but not as wacky as Illinois.

Murtha gave hundreds of jobs to PA workers... but took the most important job away from one worker, my father...now, at his old age, he had to start back from square one, hate the sob murtha...

AIRING OF GRIEVANCES CONTINUED
6) I come to this forum to discuss THINGS, not to read news stories. I do not find the news posts useful; I find that it clutters the 'Today's Posts' with numerous topics.
If you could make a new posting for every day and then list all the news stories for that day within that posting (i.e. numerous replies to the initial posting), that would be acceptable, as it could be more easily ignored by me, whereas those who enjoy reading the news (which I will suspect, would be most) would not have to click on several topics per day.
7) Bah Humbug.

Grievance noted. I looked into it and unfortunately that option does not exist. It will create a separate thread for each news item.
I think this grievance is fairly minor. As you suggest, most people will read an article here or there and then use the forum functionality to comment about the news article. If not, it is easy enough to ignore that particular forum.
