kind of a bummer that not many people
responded to this tragedy.:(
i usually have the time at night
to follow las al., and is the main track i wager on.
oh well.
R.I.P. Sam
I agree. It is also my main track.
I have been playing the track for years.
I have to admit I shed a few tears.
There is no shame in that. They are like family to me. I have never spoken a word to him, nor he to I. Yet in some odd way I feel like I lost a brother.

Hey troops, nice to hear and read your good words for Sam. There's a mutual karma of respect for riders and horses that we got. Maybe we born into it. I don't kinow for sure. The beauty of this sport cannot often confront the tragedies that bust up its legacy in this countries' rich history.
Sam was a small part of the game we love. There's no hall of fame for the little guy. There's no shame in admiring what the
little guy meant for horse racing.....thanks for your good well intentioned words.
